SCULPTURE “ARUS”

It is located at Margaryan Street, 2, within the grounds of the Yerevan Institute of Physics, National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The sculpture features a double-sided composition, each side depicting the same face of a woman. Crafted from red tuff, it stands 3 meters tall. The name “Arus” refers both to an Armenian woman’s name and to an abbreviation for the Armenian accelerator developed at the Institute of Physics (Арус, in Russian).
