A decorative statue is installed in the Ring Park next to Alex Manoogian Street. The author is Honoured Art Worker of the Armenian SSR, sculptor and set designer Stephen Aryan (Stephan Tarkharian, 1899–1954).
The model was created in plaster in the 1930s. In connection with the
centenary of Stephan Aryans birth, the sculpture was cast by his children Suren
and Ann Mary ann.
The grand opening ceremony for the monument took place on 29 July 2010.
Made of bronze with a granite pedestal it stands 1.8 metres tall.
