The Arsacid dynasty of Armenia (or Arshakuni) was a branch of the Arsacid dynasty of Parthia. The first Arshakuni was Tiridates I, brother of Parthian king Vagharsh I. Officially, he was crowned King of Armenia by the Roman emperor Nero in 66 AD. The statue of Tiridates I the Great is located in Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan.
