The monument of Taras Shevchenko, (Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, public and political figure, as well as folklorist and ethnographer) was unveiled on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Ukraine's independence and the centenary of the establishment of Armenia-Ukraine diplomatic relations.
