NORTHERN ENTRANCE TO YEREVAN

Located
at the beginning of the Sevan highway, at the Avan-Kanaker intersection.
The red tuff monument is placed on a multi-level platform faced with basalt.
The seats of the cubic-shaped monument are decorated with geometric and plant
sculptures resembling a human face. The seats are engraved with YEREVAN in
cuneiform, Armenian and foreign languages.
Symbolizes the northern entrance to the capital.
