The

on December 1, 2022. 93-year-old Albert Azaryan also participated in the

The
bust is placed on a cross-shaped pedestal. The latter symbolizes the complex of
exercises performed by the world-famous Armenian on the rings, which was
certified by the International Gymnastics Federation as the “Azaryan Cross”.
The front of the pedestal is engraved with the words: ALBERT AZARYAN: THREE-TIME OLYMPIC CHAMPION.
The
bust was made according to the picture when the 27-year-old athlete first won
the title of Olympic champion (1956).
