Yerevan's New Plan Is Ready

After eight months of development, Yerevan's new General Plan is ready.
The General Plan is being digitized in parallel, which implies ongoing changes. The document has gone through many stages of adjustment, comparisons, and filling in gaps.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has repeatedly emphasized the importance of open and transparent presentation of the architectural planning assignment for each individual land plot on the GIS map in the near future.

1981

The first line of the Yerevan subway was opened on 7 March.

2011

On July 7, Lyon Park has been opened as a symbol of friendship between Yerevan and Lyon. In 2010-2011 with the support of the City of Lyon, the park was completely renovated.
