Yerevan’s official tourist route program was launched on September 17, 2011, as part of the celebrations dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence. It was the only one of its kind in the region.
The main goal of the 90 minutes tour of the “Yerevan City Tour” program is to introduce tourists, guests of the capital and the public to the history, culture, architecture, historical and cultural monuments and sights of Yerevan.
Within the framework of the program, various social events and projects are implemented in cooperation with numerous public organizations, initiatives, institutions, secondary schools, and associations protecting the rights of persons with disabilities under the slogans “A unique surprise for first graders”, “Cultural tour”, “Walk for soldiers”, “Yerevan City Tour” for the elderly of the capital”, “Yerevan City Tour” for everyone” and others.
Emphasizing the social component of such programs, Yerevan Municipality strives to promote the integration of children with disabilities and socially vulnerable children into society.
In 2017, at the Armenia Tourism Awards, Yerevan City Tour was awarded the “Best Tourism Project of the Year” award.

The Yerevan tourist route works upon prior reservation.

The route is accompanied by a tour guide in Armenian, English, Russian.
Buses are accessible for people with disabilities.
Free wi-fi is available on buses.
Tickets can be purchased from tourist buses.
