Located on Abovyan Street. It
was originally a two-story building; in 1932, a third floor was added. The
floor plan is rectangular (66 × 20 m), with a pronounced semicircular form in
the central part, where the main entrance is located.
The building is one of the main
structures of the urban planning node located in the northern part of Yerevan’s
master plan—a node where, according to Alexander Tamanyan’s design, educational
