MONUMENT TO ARNO BABAJANIAN

The
monument to the famous Armenian composer, pianist, People's Artist of the USSR
and the Armenian SSR Arno Babajanian is located at the intersection of Teryan
and Tumanyan streets, near the Swan Lake. The ceremonial opening ceremony of
the statue took place on July 4, 2003. The monument is dedicated to the 80th
anniversary of Spendiaryan's birth. The composer is depicted sitting in front
of the piano, playing selflessly. The monument is made of bronze and granite,
the height is 2.8 m.
