The monument to General Andranik (Andranik Ozanian, 1865-1927), a figure in the Armenian national liberation movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is located on Tigran the Great Avenue, near the St. Gregory the Illuminator Mother Cathedral.
The solemn
opening took place on December 25, 2002.
The monument is
made of bronze and basalt, with a height of 9.5 meters including the pedestal.
