MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES

The Karen Demirchyan Museum exhibits, studies and perpetuates the life and activities of the greatest national, state and political figure of the modern period of the history of the Armenian people, the RA National Hero Karen Demirchyan.

The Karen Demirchyan Museum was founded on January 9, 2001 by the RA Government No. 9 decision. The museum organizes conferences, meetings with representatives of science, culture, industry and political figures.

VISITOR INFORMATION

The Karen Demirchyan Museum presents the main issues of the modern period of the history of the Armenian people, 1960–1990. The museum exhibits K. Demirchyan's work diaries (manuscript), state awards, handwritten memoirs, personal belongings, and the furniture of the office of the 1st Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia. The personal archive of Karen Demirchyan, which is kept in the museum's fund, deserves special attention.
