LA BOHÈME

The
monument "La Bohème", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth
of French-Armenian singer, chansonnier, songwriter, poet, writer, film actor
and public figure, national hero of Armenia Charles Aznavour, is located in
Yerevan's Charles Aznavour Square, in front of the "Moscow" cinema.
The
idea for the statue of "La Bohème" is based on the image of Aznavour,
accompanied by the audience's applause, during the performance of the song
"La Bohème". The statue does not have a pedestal, it is built on
hands. It is cast from bronze, marble and red enamel were also used.
