MONUMENT TO THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SOVIET REGULATION IN ARMENIA

The
monument dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Soviet rule
in Armenia is located at the intersection of Admiral Isakov Avenue and the
highway leading to the Noragyugh district, on the right bank of the Hrazdan
River.
Adjacent
to the monument, slightly below, a 6-meter-high bronze statue of the Armenian
admiral of the Soviet Navy, Hero of the USSR, corresponding member of the USSR
Academy of Sciences, Hovhannes Isakov, was installed (architect: Levon
Mkrtchyan, sculptors: Gevorg Gevorgyan, Robert Balayan).
