MOVSES GORGISYAN PARK
2013
Located in the Shengavit
administrative district of Yerevan, in the residential area between the first
and second lanes of Shirak Street. The park was renovated in 2013, featuring a
water basin and paved walkways, and was named in memory of Movses Gorgisyan, a
National Hero of the Republic of Armenia and one of the founders of the
Independence Army. In 2014, a marble bust of the hero was installed here
(sculptor: Hayk Tokmajyan). The official opening took place on July 8, 2014.
