Sculpture The Dance of Fire (Lilith) - 1997

Sculptor: William Petrosyan

The square was opened in 1997

It is located in the Kentron administrative district, on the road leading from Paronyan Street to the Hrazdan Gorge, next to the Nairi Medical Center and the Hrazdan Hotel. They opened it in 1997 in honor of Uruguay, whose Senate and Chamber of Representatives were the first to pass a resolution on April 20, 1965, condemning the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

The square is small and well-maintained. In the center, within a circular flower bed, they installed the sculpture The Dance of Fire (Lilith) by sculptor William Petrosyan, which he created from orange tuff (1997).
