CREATIVE UNIONS

Theatre Workers' Union of Armenia is a creative non-governmental voluntary organization, uniting theatrical figures of the Republic of Armenia. It was founded in 1940 in Yerevan on the initiative of Gurgen Janibekyan, who was the first president until 1949. The main goal was to help the theater, to promote the development of theatrical art. 

Hakob Ghazanchyan has been the chairman of the union since 2007.
