Located at the intersection of
Nalbandyan and Alek Manukyan streets.
The construction site of the
institute’s main three-storey building was determined by architect Alexander
Tamanyan in the first master plan of Yerevan, developed in 1924. The design and
initial construction works began in 1928. Later, in the direction of the Getar
River, Tamanyan built a second building harmoniously aligned with the main one.
Subsequently, auxiliary buildings were constructed within the institute’s territory. A new high-rise building was erected in
1970. Since 1995, the building has been allocated to the Armenian State
University of Economics.
