MONUMENT TO TOROS ROSLIN

Material: basalt
The
monument to Toros Roslin, a Cilician Armenian miniaturist and writer of the
second half of the 13th century, was installed in 1967 at the entrance to the
Matenadaran. Roslin's entire creative activity took place in Hromkla. He
enjoyed great fame, worked on orders from the royal family, princes and
high-ranking clergy. The basalt statue is 3.4 meters high.
