The sculptural group is located
at the intersection of Mesrop Mashtots and Marshal Baghramyan avenues, in the
Martiros Saryan Park. It is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of
the famous Soviet-Armenian film director Edmond Keosayan and the 35th
anniversary of the creation of his film "Men" (1972). The opening
took place on October 13, 2007.
The sculptural group presents
the heroes of the famous film (from right to left): Suren (actor: Mher
(Frunzik) Mkrtchyan), Aram (Avetik Gevorgyan), Sako (Armen Ayvazyan) and Vardan
(Azat Sherents). The statues are made of bronze, placed on a low platform
shaped like a film strip, where the names of the film's creative team members
are written in Russian.
