Statue of Mahatma Gandhi
The statue of Mahatma Gandhi, a political figure in world history, the leader of the nationalist movement against the British rule of India, is placed in the middle part of the park located between Halabyan and Margaryan streets. It was solemnly opened on August 16, 2021.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening and expanding friendly ties between Armenia and India.
It is the tribute of the Armenian people to the history of the Indian people.
