XVII- XVIII centuries
State index: 1.7.11.7
Located
in the central part of the Dalma Gardens, on the left bank of the canal.
It
was built in the early 19th century, during the reign of the last Persian
sardar of Yerevan, Hussein Qoli Khan (1807–1828), when the Dalma canal was
restored, new orchards were established, and viticulture and winemaking
developed significantly, along with the construction of numerous wine presses
and cellars.
It
is a vaulted structure with a rectangular plan, built from semi-dressed tuff
and basalt stones bonded with clay mortar. The interior walls were plastered
with clay mixed with straw (a small fragment has been preserved). There are
niches in the walls. The roof and floor are earthen. The arched entrance, with
a width of 117 cm, is located on the southern side.
During
the Soviet period, it was used as a pesticide storage facility.
