MOUND IN THE DALMA GARDENS

Located in the northern part of the Dalma Gardens. It was discovered in 2019 by an expedition of the Scientific Research Center of Historical and Cultural Heritage. It is assumed to belong to the necropolis of the Tsitsernakaberd fortress-settlement.

It is an oval-shaped mound with a stone-and-earth fill and a preserved ring of cromlechs on its northern side. It is one of the common examples of burial structures from the Bronze–Iron Age in Armenia.
