The stand of the Armenian brand was visited by experts from different countries, who emphasized the originality of the collection.

In Moscow, in Zaryadye Park, from November 28 to December 2, the international forum BRICS+ Fashion Summit is taking place, bringing together industry professionals from more than 60 countries.

Within the showroom, designers from 20 countries demonstrate their collections. In total, 130 brands are represented at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit. At the gathering of fashion industry experts, Armenia was represented by the conceptual brand Just Black with a new collection “Syunik” (SUNIQUE), which tells about the unique history of this region.

“The collection became an inspiration after the expedition to Syunik, organized by the 301. Foundation. Land of Wisdom." Together with archaeologists, historians, and experts from various fields, we examined objects unique in their historical value. These include ancient rock paintings - petroglyphs - one of the most important artifacts of this region. They became the basis of the collection,” says Gayane Manukyan, founder and designer of the Just Black brand.

According to Gayane, what was innovative in creating the collection was the use of an artificial intelligence tool in the development of some sketches.

“This is an incredibly interesting interaction experience when the designer’s imaginary ideas are integrated with a colossal amount of real data, creating new forms and meanings.”

On the first day of the summit, the stand of the Armenian brand was visited by experts from different countries, who emphasized the originality of the collection, combining ethnic elements and modern fashion trends.

“There is a lot of interest in the collection, this is very important, since fashion for me is a search for a new language of communication. Armenia has something to tell about its history, culture and heritage through conceptual forms of presentation,” said Gayane Manukyan.
