Yerevan ''Classic Fest” Has Ended: A Recap of a Musical Journey
Six Days of Unforgettable Musical Masterpieces
The Yerevan Classic Fest successfully wrapped up after six days, running from September 17 to 24 at Tumanyan Park.
This international symphony orchestra festival brought together music lovers from Yerevan and beyond, offering a series of remarkable performances. The festival opened with a performance by the Yerevan Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Eduard Topchyan, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra.
The event featured renowned musicians and ensembles from Armenia and abroad, including standout performances by the St. Petersburg Philharmonic under the direction of Nikolay Alekseev, Milan’s La Scala Academy Orchestra, and the orchestra and choir of Armenia’s National Opera and Ballet Theater.
The festival marked a major step in promoting Yerevan’s cultural life and positioning the city as a key player in international classical music festivals.
