The memorial is situated on the hill in the 10th street of the Davtashen district. It serves as a tribute to the residents of Davtashen village who lost their lives during the Second World War. Erected to commemorate the 20th
anniversary of the victory against fascism, the memorial is characterized by restrained and laconic artistic forms. It takes the form of an ascending monument, standing at a height of 7.50 meters and constructed from gray
hemispherical basalt.
