The monument of the famous Armenian poet, novelist, public figure, Academician of the Armenian SSR, winner of the USSR State Prize Avetik Isahakyan is located in the Isahakyan neighborhood of Avan administrative district, near the 1/1 residential building, in a lawny area. A black tuff bust 0.85 m in height is placed on a smooth basalt pedestal, that has 1.80 m height and there is inscripted: AVETIK ISAHAKYAN.
