The Keron Development Foundation is announcing an Open Doors Day at its office located at 38 Pushkin Street, in the historic Afrikyan House, on every Thursday of each month.
The event offers residents and visitors of Yerevan an opportunity to visit the office, hear about the history of the building, see how the Keron Foundation has breathed new life into the space, and learn more about its initiatives aimed at Armenia’s development
This building, included in Yerevan’s list of historical and cultural monuments, was built in 1902 and is considered one of the city’s first stone-built structures.The unique wall paintings and tiled fireplaces have been maintained to this day.
The Keron Development Foundation has taken great care to preserve the building’s historical and architectural authenticity. During the months-long restoration process, every effort was made to restore the original checker-pattern stone arrangement of the walls and to preserve the building’s historic balconies, fireplaces, and ceilings.
